Educational activities can be transformed into scholarship work by adopting a scholarly mindset and considering the broader definitions and types of academic scholarship. In this webinar, participants will review various types of scholarships and their alignment with educational activities. Examples of educational scholarship will be shared, and participants will have the opportunity to reflect on their potential educational scholarly projects.

Faculty RSVP for 2025 Master's and MD & PhD Convocations
The 2025 Convocation Ceremonies for Master's, PhD and MD students are just around the corner. The GMS Master's Ceremony will take place on May 15 at 10 a.m. and the MD & PhD Ceremony will be held on May 15 at 3 p.m. Both Ceremonies will take place at the BU Track and Tennis Center.
If you plan to march in the GMS Master's Convocation Ceremony, the MD & PhD Convocation Ceremony, or both, you must fill out this form in order to RSVP. If you are marching in both ceremonies, you only need to fill out the form once.
New for this year! Faculty will need to reserve their own regalia. An email from the University Provost was sent on Monday, February 10th regarding this. If you do not own your own robes, you may order rental robes (at no cost to you) through the University’s cap and gown vendor, Herff Jones by filling out the order form here. More detail on how to fill out the order form can be found here. Everyone marching in any Commencement Ceremony must wear regalia in order to participate.
Important Deadlines: RSVP to march is required by midnight on Feb. 21. The deadline to order regalia is March 3.

Students, faculty and staff are invited to the 35th annual BUMC Gallery for the Arts, sponsored by the Provost's Office. Art Days was started by Dean Emeritus Chobanian to foster the support and growth of the creative arts at BUMC. The exhibition is mounted by the Creative Arts Society.
