Join Rebecca Mishuris, MD, MS, MPH, FAMIA, the chief medical information officer and VP, Digital at Mass General Brigham. She is also a faculty member at Harvard Medical School, and a practicing primary care physician at Brigham & Women’s Hospital. In her role as CMIO she is responsible for vision, strategy, and implementation of digital solutions aligned with enterprise strategies to enable the delivery of high quality, safe, equitable and efficient care, while enhancing the patient and care team experience. Dr. Mishuris conducts research on the intersection of technology and the quintuple aim of healthcare, currently focused on the role of digital solutions in physician wellbeing, quality and equity. She is an active leader in the American Medical Informatics Association and New England HIMSS.

Please join us for a workshop on how to navigate the transitions or changes in later stages of a career. This is the first of a series of seminars and workshops on this topic: to inform and assist faculty with planning and executing late career transitions, whether these include a change in academic activities, an increased focus on mentoring, or planning for retirement.

 

We will hear from former and current faculty on how they have navigated their career pathways through a panel discussion, followed by Q & A.

 

Participants then will have breakout group discussions and report back on key topics to include for future workshops and seminars on Late Career Transitions.
