Beloved community!

On All Saints Day we baptized four adorable little girls and welcomed them into the church. My heart overflowed with joy and gratitude as we all promised to uphold them and help them follow Jesus and the Way of Love. It overflows as we continue to welcome new members - 8 households with 16 people have become members this fall, with more in the wings.

To celebrate our community and the 2020 Love Grows Here! Campaign, the Stewardship Committee and friends invite you to come grab a cup of java or punch and something delicious after the 8am and 10am services tomorrow. (Celebrate on Nov 24th after the 5pm service at the "Sunday at 6!" gathering.)

Thank you to all who have pledged and all who will get 'around to it' very soon!
We're 60% of the way to our goal of $427,000, with 81 pledges received. The vestry will be determining the 2020 budget in early December and every gift helps support and grow this community that is a beacon of light and love in this world.

This Week at Christ Church
Children’s Ministry Programs
Why Godly Play for Sunday School? Godly Play is a curriculum developed by Episcopal priest Jerome Berryman for children ages 4-12. Our youngest children encounter the core scripture stories and learn about the vocabulary and movements through Montessori inspired manipulatives. Ages 6-9 experience extensions of the core stories and make personal meaning of sacred scripture as they learn about Baptism and Eucharist. Ages 9-12 work with the Bible, Godly Play materials and research sources to synthesize core and enrichment lessons for critical thinkers, while learning about Episcopal faith traditions. Please join us any Sunday after the 10 am service: 11/17 The Ark and the Temple; 11/24 The Circle of the Church Year.
