Youth Sunday & Observance of
National Children's Sabbath
In our worship services on October 20th,
Christ Church will join with congregations
of all faiths across the nation
as we celebrate our children and youth,
and lift up the needs of the most vulnerable children and youth
in our country and the world.
Christ Church's children will help lead the service at 10:00am,
at which time representatives of the Youth Group
will reflect on their experiences on their
2019 Mission Trip to North Carolina.

Let us answer the call to love,
protect and celebrate our children,
and all God's children!

Children’s Ministry Programs
Miss Mary welcomes young children to the Nursery from 9:45 – 12:15. Parents and children are invited to stop by and check out the Nursery this morning. Instead of Children’s Chapel, we will all gather in the sanctuary for the 10 AM Service as we observe National Children’s Sabbath. Children will lead us in our Prayers of the People and will gather up front to hear our youth preach about their summer Mission Trip. Godly Play will meet in the downstairs classroom for The Good Shepherd and the World Communion with different age-appropriate response activities as we extend today’s lessons on how we meet Jesus in others, and how we bring Jesus to others, especially anyone in need.

Please stop by Godly Play if you can help today!
Youth Group Regular youth group is cancelled for 10/20. Instead, join us in the Undercroft for a presentation about last summer's mission trip to Wilmington, NC! We'll share pictures, tell stories, and answer questions from the congregation. Hope to see you there! Next week's youth group (10/27): Join us for a Día de los Muertos celebration!
