This Week at Christ Church
Children’s Ministry Programs
We thank Liz Quinn for serving as our Nursery Caregiver this Sunday. Liz knows this space--and children--very well! Cindy Winder will lead Children's Chapel, while Miss Ann celebrates her granddaughter Lila's 4th birthday. Casey Crimmins will co-lead Godly Play as children enjoy hearing An Alphabet of Saints and decorating Saint-o-Lanterns to take home, along with a Jack-o-Lantern Blessing for lighting the family pumpkin on All Halloweds' Eve (a.k.a. Hallow'een) on October 31st-- the eve of All Saints Day.

Please stop by Godly Play if you can help today!
Youth Group We are celebrating Día de los Muertos! What do you know about the Day of the Dead? Hint: it's not the Mexican equivalent of Halloween! Come learn about the ancient roots and Christian influences that combined to make this colorful holiday, where we remember our loved ones who are no longer with us. We will create an ofrenda (offering altar) celebrating those loved ones in the Loft, so please bring a photo of a deceased loved one, or one of their favorite foods or objects. (For our purposes, pets can count too!)
Bible Study at 4PM Today in the Library
Come join us! We will wrap up Samuel and discuss the next book to read. For questions contact Lee Puricelli at

Hear “Baby Shark” emanate from the great organ of Washington National Cathedral in support of the Nationals’ World Series run!
