Interfaith 9/11 Remembrance Service

Please save the date for the Interfaith 9/11 Remembrance Service on Thursday, September 10.

If you were directly affected by the events of September 11 and are interested in participating by offering a reading during the service, please contact Fr. Scott or the church office.

More details will be shared soon. We hope you will join us as we gather in remembrance, reflection, and prayer.

Blessing of the Backpacks

Our Blessing of the Backpacks will take place on Sunday, September 13.

All are invited to bring their backpacks, or work bags to receive a special blessing.

Calligrapher Jane Otto will be showing her artwork, Lamentation, at Christ Church Wednesday evening, September 23, 2026. Inspired by illuminated manuscripts, Lamentation suggests a path to healing through reparations.

The accompanying talk about reparations will complement the art with a more concrete and data-driven approach that includes the foundation, precedents, and logistics for an effective plan for acknowledgement, redress and closure.

Please join us for a lively evening of art and discussion, with reception to follow. Sponsored by the Reparations Commission of the Episcopal Diocese of New Jersey.

Join St. Alban’s online each Thursday evening from 7pm- 8pm for Prayer Meeting and Bible Study. St. Alban’s has encouraged the wider community to join us and many of the attendees come from different congregations locally as well as internationally.

We invite people to testify if they are prayerfully led and also encourage them to send their prayer requests in advance if they wish. Some attendees come prepared from time to time to not only testify, but to give a word of encouragement.

Please see the Zoom invitation below.
