A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has reached out and donated clothing, shoes, a bicycle, and other much needed items to Gabe, the young man in need.

Gabe is extremely appreciative of the incredible outpouring of love, generosity, and support from our church community. Your kindness has truly made a difference and reminded him that he is not alone.

We are still accepting donations on Gabe’s behalf. Please note that he is currently staying in a shelter and has very limited space for belongings. If you would like to continue supporting him, please contact the church office for more information about his current needs and how you can help.

Thank you again for your compassion, generosity, and willingness to come alongside Gabe during this time. Your support means more than you know.

Calligrapher Jane Otto will be showing her artwork, Lamentation, at Christ Church Wednesday evening, September 23, 2026 at 6:30 p.m.

Inspired by illuminated manuscripts, Lamentation suggests a path to healing through reparations. The accompanying talk about reparations will complement the art with a more concrete and data-driven approach that includes the foundation, precedents, and logistics for an effective plan for acknowledgement, redress and closure.

Please join us for a lively evening of art and discussion, with reception to follow.  Sponsored by the Reparations Commission of the Episcopal Diocese of New Jersey.

The Tuesdayers' Next Book: "Simply Jesus: A New Vision of Who He Was, What He Did, and Why He Matters”

We have grown used to the battles over Jesus—whether he was human or divine, whether he could do miracles or just inspire them, whether he even existed. Much of the church defends tradition, while critics take shots at the institution and its beliefs. But what if these debates have masked the real story of Jesus? The renowned Bible scholar and Anglican bishop N. T. Wright breaks down the barriers that prevent us from fully engaging with the story of Jesus in the Bible to reveal a breathtaking vision of Christ that matches the needs and complexities of our time. The Tuesdayers invite you to join our discussions beginning September 8. We meet most Tuesdays, 7:00–8:30 pm via Zoom. For more information, contact Jonathan Clark at im4canoes@yahoo.com.

Join St. Alban’s online each Thursday evening from 7pm- 8pm for Prayer Meeting and Bible Study. St. Alban’s has encouraged the wider community to join us and many of the attendees come from different congregations locally as well as internationally.

We invite people to testify if they are prayerfully led and also encourage them to send their prayer requests in advance if they wish. Some attendees come prepared from time to time to not only testify, but to give a word of encouragement.

Please see the Zoom invitation below.
