2025 Easter Flower Memorials and Gifts

Submit your contribution by Sunday, April 13!

At Easter, Christ Church is beautified with flowers memorializing departed loved ones, commemorating anniversaries, or representing thank offerings.

We welcome your contributions for Easter memorials. To be listed in the service leaflets, we must receive your contribution no later than this Sunday, April 13. Gifts may be mailed to the Parish Office, sent by Zelle, or placed in the collection plate.

Flower memorials and gifts may also be provided throughout the year. The cost for a single date in 2025 is $50; a perpetual memorial may be established with a one-time contribution of $500.

2025 Holy Week and Easter Music Memorials and Gifts

This year, we will be augmenting the liturgies of Palm Sunday & Eastertide with voices & musical instruments. Just as flowers, plants, and other decorations adorn our worship space on festive occasions, special instruments also add to the beauty of our liturgies. Will you consider a donation to our Easter music? Donations may be given as memorials or thanksgiving. Gifts may be mailed to the Parish Office, put In the collection plate, or sent via Zelle. Checks should be received in the office by this Sunday, April 13.

Vestry Corner:

Key Topics from the March 2025

Vestry Meeting

1. A discussion was held on identifying candidates to lead the Stewardship efforts for this year. Vestry members will talk with certain individuals to help up discern the best approach for Christ Church.

2. The Vestry celebrated the return of heat to the Sanctuary. Two new boilers were installed at a total cost of a little over $40,000. Insurance has already reimbursed us for almost $28,000 of the total expense, resulting in a net cost of a little over $12,000 for the parish.

3.A lively discussion was held on scheduling events for spring and summer at the church. If you have any ideas or would like to participate in this process, please contact a Vestry member

Minutes of the February 2025 meeting can be found HERE.

Finance Committee Invitation

The Finance Committee will be having conversations about increasing our parish income! Meetings are on the 4th Saturday of each month at 10a.m. You may join the meetings using this link HERE.

Join St. Alban’s online each Thursday evening from 7pm- 8pm for Prayer Meeting and Bible Study. St. Alban’s has encouraged the wider community to join us and many of the attendees come from different congregations locally as well as internationally.

We invite people to testify if they are prayerfully led and also encourage them to send their prayer requests in advance if they wish. Some attendees come prepared from time to time to not only testify, but to give a word of encouragement.

Please see the Zoom invitation below.

Break bread while "making bread" for Christ Church.

Join us at Fritz's on Monday, April 7 for

dine-in or take-out orders.

Paul Ambos, will be placing a new card order on the morning of Monday, April 7. Please place your orders accordingly. If you plan to mail him an order with a check, please (a) mail it by Wednesday, April 2, or, better, (b) advise him by email when you mail it of what your order is so he can place it on time despite possible Post Office delays. Or, if you place your own order directly on the RaiseRight website or app, Paul will be able to see it there when he orders the monthly batch.

You can avoid writing Paul a check by using their payment options through your checking account of credit card (checking costs a 29 cent charge per order; credit cards charge a percentage that is usually more).  And if you want physical cards delivered directly to your home, you can do that through the app, although you will be charged for delivery.  If you order for delivery through him, the church covers the delivery charge.

Lenten Series Bread of Life

Nourish your soul with Bread of Life. When the world feels heavy—divided and uncertain—hearts ache, minds seek peace, and souls hunger for hope. In these moments, while many search for a way forward, the bread of life reminds us of abundance. There is enough love, grace, and hope for all.

Bread of Life highlights how Jesus fed people—not just their bodies but their souls—with good news, redemption, and stories of God’s kin(g)dom. From wedding feasts to eating with tax collectors to feeding thousands, people left Jesus’ presence with full hearts and bellies. Bread of Life provides everything you need to set the table and equip all ages in your congregation and community to be nourished, both in body and spirit.

As we journey through Lent, from the wilderness to the shorelines of Galilee, we will find the sacred in the ordinary—like bread, simple yet essential. This Lent, gather your community together to break bread, savor in the divine generosity of God, and rise to share with the world out of the abundance we have received from the bread of life.

This toolkit consolidates a wide range of resources in one place, making it a go-to destination for immigration information. While some resources focus on the Episcopal Church's response to the current situation, it also includes helpful links on topics like Family Preparedness and Know Your Rights, which are valuable to people of all faiths or none at all.

To stay updated on this ever-evolving issue and hear from knowledgeable

experts, a 30-minute weekly webinar is available. You can register here.
