Christ Church of

New Brunswick

will be re-enacting a

Declaration of Independence reading on the 4th of July.

This commemorates the reading of the Declaration of Independence by Col. John Neilson to citizens of New Brunswick in July 1776. This year we will also be reflecting on the current state of America relative to the aspirations of the Declaration with Bruce Morgan from the New Brunswick Chapter of the NAACP and others noting, as Frederick Douglass did in 1852, that many in America are still being oppressed, and denied freedom spiritually, physically and economically.

In addition to the readings there will also be tour of

the Historic Christ Church graveyard.

Activities start at 10:00AM, July 4th, 2025,

light refreshments available.

It is time for the Christ Church July RaiseRight Order!

Paul Ambos, will be placing a new card order on the morning of Monday, July 7. Please place your orders accordingly. If you plan to mail him an order with a check, mail it by Wednesday, July 2. Please advise him by email when you mail it of what your order is so he can place it on time. If you place your own order directly on the RaiseRight website https://www.raiseright.com/shop or app, he will be able to see it there when he orders the monthly batch.

Introducing Our New Stewardship Chairs:

While some resources focus on the Episcopal Church's response to the current situation, it also includes helpful links on topics like Family Preparedness and Know Your Rights, which are valuable to people of all faiths or none at all.

Join St. Alban’s online each Thursday evening from 7pm- 8pm for Prayer Meeting and Bible Study. St. Alban’s has encouraged the wider community to join us and many of the attendees come from different congregations locally as well as internationally.

We invite people to testify if they are prayerfully led and also encourage them to send their prayer requests in advance if they wish. Some attendees come prepared from time to time to not only testify, but to give a word of encouragement.
