In Conversation With: the Rev. Cameron Partridge (TransEpiscopal)

Date & Time

TODAY, May 23, 2025 01:00 PM

Join us for our first in a new series: “The Episcopal Church in Conversation With...” where we highlight in conversation church leaders focusing on critical issues of our day.

In this program, join the Office of Government Relations in conversation with the Rev. Cameron Partridge (he/him), an openly trans and genderqueer Episcopal priest, theologian, spouse, and dad of two middle and high school aged children. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Cameron was ordained in the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts and completed his Th.D. from Harvard Divinity School’s Religion, Gender and Culture program. He has served in parish, young adult, campus ministry and divinity school settings, and has long been involved in advocacy efforts for trans and non-binary people, both in civic and ecclesial contexts. He is a founding member of TransEpiscopal (transepiscopal.org) and serves on its Steering Committee. Since 2016 he has been the rector of St. Aidan's Episcopal Church in San Francisco.

Communion Bread

Calling All Bakers (and Aspiring Ones Too)!

We’re on the lookout for warm-hearted volunteers to bake Communion Bread for the 1st Sunday of each month. Whether you're a seasoned baker or just love the smell of fresh bread, this is a beautiful way to serve our church family!

Want to learn more (including the recipe!) and sign up? Just click the button below — we’d loaf to have you join in!

The Tuesdayers' Next Book: "How We Learn to Be Brave: Decisive Moments in Life and Faith"

This is an inspirational guide to the key junctures in life that, if navigated with faith and discernment, pave the way for us to become our most courageous selves. Episcopal bishop Mariann Edgar Budde teaches us that being brave is not a singular occurrence; it’s a journey that we can choose to undertake every day. Readers will learn to live and to respond according to their true beliefs and in ways that align with their best selves. Bishop Budde provides much-needed fortitude and insight to anyone searching for answers in uncertain times. The Tuesdayers invite you to join our discussion. We meet over Zoom on Tuesdays (except the second of the month), 7:00-8:30 pm. For more information contact Jonathan Clark at im4canoes@yahoo.com.

Spring Clean-Up at

Christ Church

Join us for our Annual Spring Clean-Up Day at Christ Church!

 Date: Saturday, May 31

 Time: 10:00 AM

 Location: Christ Church Grounds

Let’s come together as a community to refresh and beautify our church grounds. All ages are welcome—bring your gloves, tools, and plenty of energy!

We look forward to seeing you there!

Join Christ Church member Anna Rose Gable, an ESL teacher, for a discussion of challenges facing Christ Church's undocumented neighbors, and learn about various ways to get involved in efforts to provide relief.

We will meet in the Children's Chapel after each service on Sunday, June 1, 2025.

Paul Ambos, will be placing a new card order on the morning of Monday, June 2. Please place your orders accordingly. If you plan to mail him an order with a check, please (a) mail it by Wednesday, May 28, or, better, (b) advise him by email when you mail it of what your order is so he can place it on time despite possible Post Office delays. Or, if you place your own order directly on the RaiseRight website or app, Paul will be able to see it there when he orders the monthly batch.

You can avoid writing Paul a check by using their payment options through your checking account of credit card (checking costs a 29 cent charge per order; credit cards charge a percentage that is usually more).  And if you want physical cards delivered directly to your home, you can do that through the app, although you will be charged for delivery.  If you order for delivery through him, the church covers the delivery charge.

You are invited to a webinar next Tuesday evening, organized by the Reparations Commission.  Use this link to register for “Journey toward Reparation: An Indigenous Perspective”. https://dioceseofnj.zoom.us/meeting/register/AGJigBYZRh2m1Jgh4B6wow
