Rita Case Named National TIME Dealer of the Year

Rita Case, dealer principal of Rick Case Honda in Davie, Florida was named the 2024 TIME Dealer of the Year during an awards ceremony at NADA Show 2024 in Las Vegas on February 3. The award, sponsored by Ally Financial, celebrates franchised new-car dealers for exceptional business performance and outstanding community service. Rita, nominated by FADA, was chosen among a field of 49 dealer nominees from across the country. Rita is the third FADA member to win the national award. George Nahas won in 2002 and Tom Castriota won in 2011. Join us in celebrating Rita's accomplishments to the automotive industry. We are so proud of her!

FADA President Ted Smith on the Dealer-Manufacturer Relationship

President Ted Smith took the stage last Friday at NADA with 3 of his counterparts and NADA's Lauren Bailey. They discussed the relationship between dealers and manufacturers. Ted commented on what the implications are for Florida and the industry at large. He said, "It doesn't do any good to have franchise laws if someone can't ensure that dealers and protected, and that those laws are enforced."
