We need your help! Not everyone in our congregation uses email. If you are aware of someone who does not receive the weekly news and updates, please take the time to share the info with them.
for our directory.
Grace and peace to you in these unpredictable times. I just wanted to update you on things here at the church and church life over the next few weeks.
Our building is closed until further notice
All services of worship will be available via Facebook (Facebook.com/faithchurchucc). This will include this Sunday, Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, and Easter Sunday. Our current plan is to make our services available on our website (faithchurchucc.org) as well for those who do not have Facebook accounts.
We will continue remote worship until further notice.
For those who wish to receive communion on Maundy Thursday and Easter Sunday, communion kits will be made available. The kits are sealed cups of grape juice and a wafer and can be used as you follow the liturgy for communion during the remote services. Distribution of the kits will be much like restaurants; curbside delivery at the church. Times of availability will be announced.
Sandy is working from home but is checking messages throughout the day
I am working from home but also come into the office. I’m the only one here so I think I’m following social distance guidelines.

Lastly, I know that this COVID-19 pandemic is impacting our lives in many ways, one of which is our finances. It’s not just affecting our finances in HOW we spend our money but how we are RECEIVING our income as well. I want to be sensitive to every situation or circumstance. But during this time I would like to remind you that our financial obligations continue. I am still remaining in touch with members of the congregation, writing, designing worship, and preaching … in front of a camera (who would have thought!). Sandy is working at home, responding to calls, sending out correspondence, handling finances, and updating our website (still a work in progress). And of course, the typical bills continue to come in.
During this time, you can continue to financially support the ministry of your church as you are able. You can simply mail your gift in or use one of two online giving programs: Tithe.ly which is on our website or your own banks bill pay. Your church depends upon your generous and faithful stewardship to maintain tis ministry in whatever form it takes!
Please be safe, stay inside as much as necessary, and remain healthy.
