Train for RAIHN*
Four times a year, temporarily homeless families come to stay at First Universalist for a week. We provide for them a safe place to stay and tasty meals. If you'd like to join the volunteers who make this happen, consider attending the next training session at Christ Episcopal Church, 141 East Ave., Rochester on Thursday, April 16th, from 6:30-8:30 PM. The session will cover how RAIHN works, why it's needed, who are the families we serve, and what you need to know to volunteer. Questions? Ask Sarah Singal (261-3800), Marti Eggers (385-4342), or Christine DeGolyer (461-3616) or check www.raihn.org *Rochester Area Interfaith Hospitality Network: Keeping Families Together, Bringing Families Home |
