Tuesday, February 4 | Drop-In Discussion: Presidential Pardons
The Constitution gives U.S. Presidents the “Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offenses against the United States, except cases of Impeachment.” Phil Ebersole will give some background information and lead a discussion on how this power may be used and abused. Eastman at Washington Square Concerts are in our sanctuary on Thursdays from 12:15 to 12:45pm. February 6 is “Hungarian Motifs”: Eastman Violin professor Mikhail Kopelman and pianist Anna Gourfinkel will perform music by Brahms and Hubal. Admission is free!
