On Friday, May 5, we experience a full moon and a lunar eclipse. What do the cycles of the moon have to teach us? And how do these cycles create a collective way of being? Let us allow the wild of the moon to enter into our hearts.

In our current political environment, we are beginning to hear a lot of negative, even hateful, speech about folks who are WOKE and how WOKE must be rejected and even outlawed. What is being WOKE and is it harmful for folks in this country and its future to be WOKE? John Lukes presents. Drop-in Discussions meet via Zoom on Tuesday nights from 6:30-7:30pm. Thursday, May 4 | Eastman at Washington Square: Great Romantics and Beyond

Eastman at Washington Square Concerts take place on Thursdays at 12:15 to 12:45pm in our sanctuary. May 4 is "Great Romantics and Beyond": Beautiful chamber music with Eastman alumni violinist Yunjung Lee, Dong Yeol Hong, cello, and Irina Lupines, piano. Admission is free!


Sunday, May 7 | In-Person Drop-In Discussion: Equality, Pros and Cons

What kinds of equality do we want? Just what do we mean by equality, anyhow? Is there a conflict between equality and equity? This will be the topic of our next in-church drop-in discussion, which is held at 9:15am in the Chalice Room on the first Sunday of the month. Phil Ebersole will facilitate. If you have a topic you want discussed or want to facilitate a discussion, speak to Phil Ebersole.


Friday, May 12 | Cozy Night Supper, 6-8pm

A potluck and program favorite at First Universalist. In the first hour we eat. In the second hour we'll consider one of the primary values of Unitarian Universalism: Transformation!
