10:30am Sunday Service | Parenting in a Pandemic: Oh What a Joy!
It is no secret that our parents have been balancing so much in this pandemic—working, parenting, schooling from home, hybrid schooling models, being involved in your kids' schooling and routines way more than any parent has had to before. Let us explore the joys still found here and the challenges to the joy of parenting that this past year has been.

Speaker: Rev. Lane Campbell

Due to COVID-19 we will be holding our worship services online
for the foreseeable future. We will hold on-line services
each Sunday at 10:30am (our regular worship time).

Tuesdays | Drop-In Discussion: What are We Looking Forward To?
Dare we say that we are on the road to normal? Many have received or planned our corona vaccination. As the flowers push up, we look toward a more usual life. But before we leave our masked, socially distanced and somewhat secluded life, what have we learned? Did some dreams get better as we had longer to plan? Did we daydream an even better dream? Let's hold on to the good part as we move on to the future. Janet Rothbeind will guide us through this conversation. Drop-In Discussions are virtual! We meet on Tuesday nights from 6:30-7:30pm. Look on the First Universalist homepage for details and a link, or click the Zoom meeting link on the title of this description!

Wednesdays | Midweek Meditation
First Universalist Church will be hosting Midweek Meditation services with Rev. Lane and/or Rev. Michelle on Wednesdays from 11:30am-noon. A time to connect for deep breathing, meditation, singing, and silence. On second Wednesdays, an extra half hour of sharing will follow the traditional format. Look on the First Universalist homepage for details and a link, or click the Zoom meeting link on the title of this description!

From the Caring Committee
COVID-19 Vaccines are here. Many of us have already scheduled or received our COVID-19 vaccine; however, getting an appointment can be frustrating. If you are having trouble with the system, these numbers may be helpful: Lifespan: 585-232-3280; Office of the Aging: 585-325-2800—their offices can provide assistance. The good news is that more vaccines are becoming available and more vaccination venues are opening including Wegmans, CVS, Walgreens, and Rite Aid.

From the Nominating Committee
The Nominating Committee would like to remind everyone that we have several leadership positions opening up for next church year. If you are interested in serving on the Board of Trustees, Nominating Committee, Faith In Action Council, Committee on Ministry, or if you’d like like to recommend someone, please email us at NomCom@uuroc.org. Also, anyone interested in attending the UUA General Assembly in June, send us a note. More information about GA is available on the UUA website. Members will be voting at the Annual Meeting on these leadership positions, and we welcome your suggestions! More info is in the April Outlook. For more info about leadership opportunities and the rewards of volunteering at First Universalist, please view the Nominating Committee video on Rev. Lane's Reflections, April 22, 2021.
