Support Family Promise by eating delicious food at Benucci's on Wednesday, April 17, between 11:30am and 9pm! Benucci's Restaurant in Pittsford Plaza will donate 20% of the day's proceeds to FPGROC's programs that support families at risk of or experiencing homelessness. Sunday, April 21 | Safety Training for First Universalist
On Sunday, April 21, following the service, there will be a safety training for folks who attend First Universalist Church and especially for ushers and greeters. Have you ever wondered what your role is when someone is disruptive or prompting folks to feel unsafe? Have you wished you knew what resources are available to help our church be more safe? This is the training for you! The Safety Training will be happening in-person, as it pertains to the layout of the building and in-person safety. Join in the conversation on Sunday, April 21, at 12:00pm in the Chalice Room.

Our April SJP will be donated to DRUUMM. They are the oldest and largest UU People of Color ministry and anti-racist community organization based in North America. They continue to lead efforts towards an anti-racist, anti-oppressive, multicultural UUA. We encourage you to contribute what you can to support this valuable organization.
Monday, April 22 | Our Homeless Neighbors
Hear two local experts on homelessness at this event "Our Homeless Neighbors: Who are They? Why are they in this situation?" on Monday, April 22, from 12-2pm at Church of the Ascension, 2 Riverside Street. Connie Sanderson, head of Partners Ending Homelessness (PEH), and Captain Gabriel Person, head of the Homeless Outreach Team (H.O.T.), will give us context and understanding as well as ways to get involved. Sponsored by GRCC (Greater Rochester Community of Churches) Faith in Action Network. All are welcome to attend.
Friday, April 26 | Passover Seder
Come and join us on Friday, April 26 as we gather to celebrate a traditional Passover Seder and meal. The event starts at 6:30pm with song and story with participation by all present. We will eat about 7:45pm. You are asked to bring a salad, entree, or dessert to share with 6-8 people. Tableware, soup, grape juice, wine, and matzo will be provided.
