10:30am Sunday Service | Authentically Queer
Join First Universalist Church and the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence for a service celebrating living out loud and proud. On this Sunday following Transgender Day of Remembrance, we will explore both the gifts and the unfortunate challenges of living out and proud. And we will search our hearts for a faithful response to queerphobia and transphobia.

Speaker: Rev. Lane Campbell

Due to COVID-19 we will be holding our worship services online
for the foreseeable future. We will hold on-line services
each Sunday at 10:30am (our regular worship time).

Nov. 20 at 7pm | Transgender Day of Remembrance
First Universalist will be joining with many other religious communities and the transgender/gender non-conforming community in observance of Transgender Day of Remembrance on November 20. This day marks a time to mourn and celebrate the lives of transgender and non-binary people who have been killed this past year due to violence. The service will stream live at 7pm on the First Universalist Facebook page.

Homeless Meals
Shortly after Covid began, 60 of Rochester's homeless, found living in places unfit for human habitation, were relocated to a vacant area hotel. Potlucks are being provided by volunteers every evening. Individuals are needed for these meals four nights a week. Drop off starts at 5:15pm. Serving begins at 6pm. To volunteer, simply sign up, by clicking on the link in the chat to a Facebook page to sign up or by calling Michael Gill at the number provided.  All are required to be masked and socially distanced and to keep location of the hotel private. Meal sign-up is on the FB page, "HOMES 4 the HOMELESS" . If you are not on FB, or wish to plan for a group instead of individuals, contact Michael Gill: (585) 413-7879.
