Tuesday, July 29 | Drop-In Discussion: Life Breaks Through - Earth Day
Tonight we will watch and discuss the sermon that Rev. AJ van Tine presented on Earth Day to our sister congregation at First Unitarian. As we heard two weeks ago, Rev. Sinkford during his “Mountain Top” sermon extolled Rev. AJ’s Earth Day sermon as powerful and extremely relevant. Come watch this sermon and discuss your thoughts and reactions with us. Drop-in Discussions meet via Zoom on Tuesday nights from 6:30-7:30pm. Look on the First Universalist homepage for details and a link, or click the Zoom meeting link in this blurb title!
Sunday, August 3 | In-person Drop-In Discussion: Quality of Life
Some time ago the D&C published rankings of Monroe County neighborhoods, villages and towns based on quality of life.' Let's talk about what makes a place a good place to live, and what we think of the places we ourselves live.
Opening for Childcare Assistant
If you know someone who would enjoy working with children alongside our faithful childcare leader, Carol Williams, for two hours each Sunday, please share this link with them. Interviews will be scheduled for mid to late August. Questions should be directed to Rev. Michelle at edu@uuroc.org with “Childcare” in the subject line.
