Noon Sunday Service | Sunday Morning Worship for General Assembly

Join in worship with thousands of UUs across the country during our annual gathering of congregations, General Assembly. Worship will be led by the ministry team of First Universalist Church in Minneapolis, showcasing innovation and collaboration.

Due to COVID-19 we will be holding most of our worship services online for the foreseeable future. Over the summer we will be holding several in-person outdoor worship services on July 18 and August 8.

Tuesdays | Drop-In Discussion: What does the Bible say regarding the owning of slaves and what verses did American slave holders use to justify the practice?

LOVE of neighbor is one of the fundamental teachings of the Bible. Love, however, is diametrically opposed to the concept of oppressive slavery. Hence, some people are puzzled by the mention of slavery in the Bible. In ancient times God allowed his people to own slaves. (Genesis 14:14, 15) Even in the days of the apostles, some Christians were slave owners and some were slaves. Rev. Michelle Yates presents. Drop-In Discussions are virtual!
