Tuesday, Oct. 14 | Drop-In Discussion: Have You Had Enough Already?!
Each Thursday afternoon, since DJT was re-elected, Joy Leccese has been hosting weekly live Zoom drop-in discussion sessions to give kindred spirits a safe space to share their concerns and fears about what Trump 2.0 is doing and what we might be able to do about it, even if only in small, seemingly insignificant ways. It’s also a place to share good news we learn about. Staying connected, grounded and focused on how we cope is essential to maintaining our mental health. Join us in sharing the strength of being together on the journey. Drop-in Discussions meet via Zoom on Tuesday nights from 6:30-7:30pm. Look on the First Universalist homepage for details and a link, or click the Zoom meeting link in this blurb title!
Saturday, Oct. 18 | “No Kings” Protests, Multiple Times & Locations in Rochester
The president thinks his rule is absolute. But in America, we don’t have kings, and we won’t back down against chaos, corruption, and cruelty. Grow our movement and join us. A core principle behind all No Kings events is nonviolence. Weapons of any kind should not be brought to events. Please visit nokings.org to see more info! Interested in carpooling? Contact Justin (conglife@uuroc.org) to get connected with other attendees!

Are you interested in learning more about our faith? Our minister, Rev. Eileen, and our Congregational Life Coordinator, Justin Wilson, will be leading a session after the service in the Chalice Room. This brief discussion is designed for visitors or newcomers who are looking for a general introduction to see if First Universalist would be a good match for them.
