Sunday, June 2 | Annual Meeting
The annual business meeting for the First Universalist Society will be held Sunday, June 2, immediately following the service. All members and friends are encouraged to attend. Agenda items include presentation and vote on the proposed 2019-2020 budget, elections for key positions, and a vote on the social justice all-church project proposal. Come join us!

Newly Acquired Used Books!
The church library recently was given many bags on high-quality used books, which are for sale for 50 cents each. Stock up during coffee hour for good summer reading.

Call for Gardeners!
An ongoing commitment is not required. We will need waterers, weeders, harvesters. Please contact Sarah Singal if you can assist with any of these actions at garden@uuroc.org .

  • Shirley & David Malone: "David's brother in Colorado was diagnosed with lung cancer in February that had already spread. We were notified on this on Wednesday, talked to him Thursday afternoon, and he died on Friday night."
  • Jeannie Gloss: "Recently we learned that our darling 8 month golden retriever has a severe hip disorder, and will not live long."
  • Caring Committee: "Paula Marchese was in a car accident on Sunday, May 12. She is recovering and healing well. Cards welcome."

  • Mic Toker: "Mixed emotions as Shannon Toker Hoffman and family have decided to take up permanent residence in California and stop travel nursing. She has accepted a position in case management."
