September 18 | New to First Universalist?
Join Rev. Lane-Mairead for a UU and You question and answer session following the worship service on Sunday, September 18. Remain in the Zoom room if participating online and meet in the back of the sanctuary for folks in-person.
September 23 | A Night of Fringe FUN at UURoc!
On Friday, Sept. 23, the Rochester Fringe Festival will be hosting the Bandaloop aerial acrobatics group in a performance just outside the doors of First Universalist! Join us on the back lawn (between First Universalist and M&T Bank building) for a gathering to watch Bandaloop. Gathering with snacks and beverages starts at 6:30pm, performance is at 7:30pm. Please bring lawn chairs, blankets, binoculars, and your dinner if you wish! Rain date is Sept. 24, same time!
October 2 | In-Church Drop-In Discussions to Resume!
Drop-in discussions will resume in the Chalice Room starting at 9:15am, on Sunday, Oct. 2, and will continue to be held there on the first Sunday of each month until further notice. The initial Sunday morning discussion will be about where we want to go, what topics we want to discuss, and what ground rules we want to adopt. The Zoom drop-in discussions on Tuesday nights will continue as they are now without interruption. Phil Ebersole is the person to talk to if you have thoughts about the future in-church discussions. Beth Ares is the person to talk to about the Tuesday evening Zoom discussions.
October 9 | COVID Listening Session
The COVID Task Force would like to hear your feedback about First Universalist's COVID policies and practices. Join in the conversation on October 9 following the worship service both online and in-person.
