Thursday, Nov. 20 | Eastman at Washington Square: The Stories of Animals I
Eastman at Washington Square Concerts are in our sanctuary on Thursdays from 12:15 to 12:45pm. Nov. 20 is “The Stories of Animals I”: Join us for a fun-filled afternoon of music and storytelling. Pianists Tony Cho, Soojin Kang, Irina Lupines, and Priscilla Yuen will perform Saint-Saens’ Carnival of Animals, narrated by Professor Kathryn Cowdrick. Admission is free!
Saturday, Nov. 22 | Vegan Potluck Lunch
Join us for an afternoon of community, conversation, and delicious plant-based dishes, from noon to 2:45pm. We suggest bringing enough to serve 8 people for a potluck. Please list every ingredient on a card, or recipe if you prefer. On your card, if yours is both “vegan and gluten-free”, please be sure to write that. We hope to see you there!

We will be gathering food for the Community Food Cupboard every Sunday in November to help with food insecurity in our community. EcoJustice is selling plastic-free laundry powder and sheets at cost in the Clara Barton Lounge throughout November. Count yourself as one of those eco-friendly people who are not adding to the 700 million plastic jugs that are dumped into landfills each year!
