2020 Annual Meeting
The annual meeting of the First Universalist Society of Rochester, N.Y. will be held on Sunday, June 7, immediately following the service. The purpose of the meeting will be to vote on the proposed 2020-21 church budget and on nominees for Board of Trustees and Nominating Committee vacancies. There will be no coffee hour that Sunday. Due to the constraints caused by COVID-19, the meeting will be conducted online via Zoom. Procedural information will be sent out prior to June 7.
From the Zoom Tech Team
Volunteers are needed to help keep our digital worship space running smoothly this summer! There are roles for every level of skill set, from beginner to tech savvy expert. Training is available and serving on the Zoom Tech Team requires moderate knowledge of Zoom. Would you be able to help us out? Contact
minister@uuroc.org
for more info or to put your name on the list of amazing volunteers. Thank you!
From the Caring Committee
Can you help? If you are able, volunteers may be needed to run errands or drop off a meal to a homebound congregant. Please contact the Caring Committee at
caring@uuroc.org to put your name on the list of the willing and able volunteers. We appreciate your support during this extended sequestration. Any expenses will be reimbursed with receipt.
Online Giving Made Easy!
To make a plate offering, pledge payment, or other contribution to the church, it’s easier than ever:
- Visit the church website: uuroc.org
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and look on the lower left for the yellow “donate” area.
- Indicate the amount you want to give, and select how you want to pay.
- IMPORTANT: please use the “write a note” option to let us know what your payment is for (pledge or plate offering, for example). This should appear right under the amount of your donation.
- Fill in the rest of the information and submit the donation! You should receive an email receipt soon afterwards.
Thank you for helping us to stay financially healthy while we are together at a distance. And of course, you are always welcome to go “old school” and send a check to the church via US mail!
