The Saving Power of Unitarian Universalism.
Why do people come here, to this place, each Sunday? In what ways does First Universalist Church seek to transform and even to save lives? At the conclusion of our series on Testimony, we offer stories of the ultimate power of Unitarian Universalism to change us, to bring meaning and purpose to our lives, and to create the beloved community this world so deeply needs.

CRIB SHEETS NEEDED FOR RAIHN:
It's safer for toddlers to sleep on a crib mattress than on an inflatable bed. We have two standard crib mattresses for our young RAIHN guests but could use standard crib sheets and crib blankets. If you have some that you could donate, they would be very much appreciated. Please let Marti Eggers, Sarah Singal or Chris DeGolyer know via office@uurocorg. Thank you!

RAIHN* WEEK:
Sign-Ups & Training.
During RAIHN Week, October 21 -- 28, we will turn our church into a home for temporarily homeless families. To join our volunteer team, sign up in the lounge after church on Sunday, or contact Chris DeGolyer, via
office@uuroc.org
with questions. If you'd like to learn more before volunteering, we have opportunities to "shadow" experienced volunteers.
If you haven't trained before, attend a two-hour orientation about putting the RAIHN philosophy into action on Thursday, October 11 at 6:30 pm at the Third Presbyterian Church, 4 Meigs Street, Rochester. RSVP to Jen Canning,
coordinator@raihn.org
