Progress on the Richard Brush Memorial Fund!
An anonymous donor has generously offered to match up to $2500 any donations we make before August 31 to the Richard Brush Memorial Fund for Family Promise's shelter program. It will help pay for temporary apartment housing for families as they look for permanent housing. As of May 15th, we are 38% of the way toward the goal, thanks to the early donors! Did you know that the UUA General Assembly is meeting online and in-person on June 22 - June 26 in Portland, Oregon? You are welcome to attend and you could also serve as a delegate from our congregation.
Would you like to be a delegate from our congregation? Our congregation can send up to 4 delegates, so please let the Nominating Committee know if you are interested at
nomcom@uuroc.org. The Board of Trustees hopes to select delegates at their May meeting.
