Thursday, January 18 | Eastman at Washington Square: "Winter Double Bill- Strauss and Purcell"
Eastman at Washington Square Concerts take place on Thursdays at 12:15 to 12:45pm in our sanctuary. January 18 is "Winter Double Bill - Strauss and Purcell": Eastman Opera Theatre presents a combination of two great works in the operatic canon. The stories from the "Ariadne auf Naxos Prologue" and "Dido and Aeneas" bring together stories of extravagance and abandonment from over 200 years apart. They show the timeless resilience of the human condition. Admission is free!
