Rev. Patrick McElwaine, Pastor
Due to COVID-19, All our in-person events are postponed until further notice. We are taking every precaution and following the CDC and State guidelines to keep everyone safe. Thank you for understanding and helping us during this time.
Dear friends,

I am especially excited about Geneva's new reading group that is meeting via Zoom for the first time this Friday @ 7:00pm. I hope you will make it a point to add your heart and voice to the conversation. Whether or not you have RSVP'd you are welcome to join at any time! We will be studying our first book for four weeks, so it's not a long time commitment if that's a concern.

A great book, engaging material, and a prophetic word for our times -- check below in this email for the Zoom link!

During worship this Sunday @ 10:30 we will skip to the end of Joseph's story that we started last week. Joseph has a choice to make: given his 11 brothers' betrayal, how will he respond now that he is in a position of power? Will he choose revenge or forgiveness? Opposition or unity? Find out what happens and why it matters for our lives today when we gather in our Virtual Sanctuary this Sunday -- can't wait to see you there!

Yours in Christ,
Pastor Patrick

New Race and Justice Reading Group

Let's Help Our Neighbors At Scotland AME Zion Church!

In July 2019 Scotland AME Zion Chuch on Seven Locks Rd. sustained significant storm damage that has prevented them from worshipping in their building ever since. This historically black church faces costly and extensive repairs before they can return to the church home where they have worshipped since 1915.

After a period of reflection and planning, Scotland AME is now asking their community for help with rebuilding. Geneva Presbyterian Church's Mission Committee has made a $500 donation on behalf of our church family. If you would like to consider making a donation personally, please follow the link to Scotland AME's official webpage below:

This page will provide information on how to give via their secure GoFundMe website and how the campaign is progressing so far. Thank you for your generous stewardship at Geneva Presbyterian Church -- it has enabled us to show our tangible support for our neighbors in Christ during this challenging time for their congregation.
