Dear friends,
I am praying for our whole church family as the cold temperatures linger and folks continue to experience the effects of last weekend's winter storm. Stay warm and safe in the days to come!
There is a possibility for more snow this weekend, but no clear forecast just yet. We'll keep an eye on that and act accordingly.
This Sunday we will read Luke 2:22-40 together. I'll invite you to prayerfully consider the lives of Simeon and Anna as well as reflect on these verses as a whole before we gather. Devotion. Patience. Endurance. These are words that immediately come to mind in relation to these two wonderful people. Perhaps you will see some connections between these two and what we talked about last week: being in the right place at the right time to have a big impact for God's kingdom. We'll talk about this and more Sunday!
Also, Sunday will be a Communion service. If you will be worshiping online, here's your reminder to gather your food and drink ahead of service to participate in the sacrament.
Yours in Christ,
Pastor Patrick
