11 Oct 2017
The HELP Ministry will have its next service day this Saturday, October 14th, 9am.

If you're interested in being a part of work to resource and pray for our neighbors in need, please contact Laura Weldon via the church office (404.876.2678 or office at graceonponce.org) to volunteer, and then meet us at Grace on Saturday in the Middle Parking Lot.
Remember that worship this Sunday begins at 10am as  Grace Church again proudly marches in the 2017 Pride Parade!

Family and friends are welcome. Participating in this event is a wonderful opportunity to show our love for community and to show that Grace UMC is here for everyone!

We'll meet immediately following worship in the upper parking lot, and head to the parade start. We will provide lunch and coordinate transportation. And new Grace T-shirts are here! See the section below for details regarding how to get yours this Sunday. Other questions: contact Robby Hollida or Jess Ray via the Grace office (office at graceonponce.org).

NOTE - Changes for the day: Worship: 10am. Adult Sunday School: 11am, in the Sanctuary. The parade begins at 12pm.

Just in time for the Pride Parade, new Grace UMC T-shirts are available to the Grace community.

You may get your shirt in the Grace Cafe on Sunday mornings prior to worship for a suggested donation of $10 per shirt.
Join Grace UMC and our partners in ministry at General Board of Global Missions as we seek to make a difference for those affected by HIV/AIDS in Atlanta.

We will walk to sponsor the work of Living Room, Inc. Atlanta's 2017 AIDS Walk & 5K Run is Sunday, October 22nd. To participate and help us Pack the Park, visit: http://bit.ly/GraceAIDSwalk. (Image: AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K Run)
Now through November via a video study, Grace's Living Room Class is engaging the question, "What if changing our perception of God has the potential to change everything?" This series focuses on the Trinity and transformation, based on Richard Rohr's recent book, Divine Dane: the Trinity & Your Transformation . While many may find God irrelevant or simply unbelievable in today's culture, "Rohr presents a compelling alternative to aloof and fairy tale versions of God."

We meet in the Living Room at 10am each Sunday. Everyone is welcome and you do not have to attend every week - come when you can! For more information, contact Michelle Levan via the church office (office at graceonponce.org).
Everyone is welcome as the Sunshine Club sponsors a wonderful Christmas luncheon and entertainment program on Monday, December 18th at 11:30am, in the Fellowship Hall/Living Room. (Lunch begins at 12pm.)

The cost is only $10, but advanced reservations are required. Robby Hollida and Chef Jess will put out a spread that you don't want to miss! Also, we'll have special guests to entertain us with Christmas songs and caroling.

We look forward to seeing all of our "old friends" (no pun intended). Please reserve your spot by Sunday, December 10th by contacting David Hober via the church office (404.876.2678 or office at graceonponce.org).
