The
2019 Greenlee Summit is this week! This networking event is a great opportunity for students to learn about communication and civil discourse in our democracy, gain insight and perspective on current issues in the communication industry, and network with other students and fellow communication professionals.
Attend our opening keynote with
S.E. Cupp, conservative political commentator, author and host of CNN's
Unfiltered, at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5 in the Memorial Union Great Hall.
Head over to the Scheman Building on Friday, Sept. 6, for a variety of panels and breakout sessions focused on key issues in today's communication industry.
Leslie Gaines-Ross, Chief Reputation Strategist for global public relations firm Weber Shandwick, will present findings from
Civility in America: A Nationwide Survey at 9 a.m.
More sessions led by
nationally recognized professionals will take place throughout the day Friday.
This FREE event is come and go, so students can attend any of the sessions throughout the day as their class schedule allows. Many Greenlee professors are offering extra credit for attendance, so come out and learn with us!

Save the Date: Futures Forum - Oct. 3, 2019

Joel Davis, Greenlee School alumnus and Vice President/General Manager at WRAL TV and WRAZ TV in Raleigh, North Carolina, will share career and networking advice for students at the Greenlee School’s 2019 Futures Forum at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2019. The lecture will be located in the Memorial Union Campanile Room.

Jump-Start Internship and Networking Fair - Oct. 1, 2019
|
Hosted by the Greenlee School, this boutique-style internship and networking fair connects relevant employers with students who are preparing for careers in advertising, journalism, public relations, communications and other related fields. It is open to all Iowa State University students. Students do not need to register in advance. It will be held from noon to 4 p.m. on Oct. 1 in the Memorial Union Great Hall.
