Greenlee Ice Cream Social
|
Eat treats, meet clubs! Join us for our annual Greenlee Ice Cream Social from 2-4 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 31, on the west lawn outside Hamilton Hall. Pick up some prepackaged ice cream from the ISU Creamery, and learn about opportunities to get involved and get experience with Greenlee student clubs and media.

The Faculty Mentorship Program expands our professional support for Greenlee students. This mentorship program will work alongside your professional academic advisor, who will serve as your everyday academic advising support. Together, your academic advisor and mentor will do whatever they can to help you make the most of your college years and prepare you for the career you choose.

AgEI Change-Maker Academy
|
The Agricultural Entrepreneurship Initiative (AgEI) is currently looking for students interested in their Change-Maker Academy, an extracurricular program geared toward undergraduate students who are looking to learn more about entrepreneurship, innovation and creative thinking.
This is a great program for new students (first year and transfers) or students with little experience with these topics. The program seeks to help students develop the skillsets need to be a successful entrepreneur, intrapreneur or change-maker in their future.

ProPublica Emerging Reporters Program
|
Are you a college junior or senior considering investigative journalism as a career?
The Emerging Reporters Program provides a $9,000 stipend along with mentoring and trips to the National Institute for Computer-Assisted Reporting conference and its New York office (or virtual programming) for five students each year who work or want to work at college journalism outlets: newspapers, websites, radio stations or TV stations. It’s part of ProPublica’s goal to increase industry diversity.

Job Description: The Iowa State Daily is looking for reporters, photographers and copy editors. The positions are unpaid, but you have the potential to move up to paid editor positions next year. Most reporters are expected to write one story a week. To join or if you have questions, email editor-in-chief Kylee Haueter at kylee.haueter@iowastatedaily.com.
