A Note from Daryl Denelle, Ministry Intern
Beloved Congregation,

I am thrilled to be with you all this Sunday leading worship INSIDE our wonderful church sanctuary! This week, we will explore what it means to be “fearless” as people of faith. We will have a Children’s Message during other service and Sunday School/nursery will be on the patio!

On a less happy note, this will be my final week preaching and leading worship before I leave my HCC family. I will be returning to Yale Divinity School and Andover Newton Seminary in New Haven, CT, in August. This past year as a Ministry Intern has been a challenging but joy-filled adventure. I can not wait to find out what is next!

Thank you for allowing me to grow and change with you all.

See you Sunday,
Thank you!

The estimated average cost of the backpack filled with school supplies is $50.

Virtual Concert by Violinist Kai Waynen
Thirteen-year-old Kai Waynen began playing violin at the age of 3. Kia is the son of Matt and Yoko Waynen and the grandson of Steve and Lynn
Waynen. He was a member of the New England Conservatory‘s Preparatory String Orchestra at age 9, and the String Repertory Orchestra the following year. At 11, he was concertmaster for the Boston Youth Symphony Junior Repertory Orchestra’s 2019 season. He is currently a member of the Youth Symphony at the New England Conservatory.
Kai has also studied privately with accomplished violinist Dan Flonta and Carol Sykes, one of the founders of the Suzuki system in the United States. He currently studies with violinist Anait Arutunian, who teaches at New England Conservatory. Kai's other passions are science, chess, biking and foosball - his 2 younger sisters are catching up fast and giving him a run for his money!
Kai is planning to record a recital in our sanctuary which will be aired on YouTube. He hopes to raise money with half going to HCC and half for the Dream Award Scholarship Fund. To listen to a peace performed in May at HCC go to:
