KIDS SINGING THIS SUNDAY

All children interested in singing are invited to come to the 3^rd floor music room for a bit of music after worship this Sunday. We’ll be practicing a song to sing on Palm Sunday! Parents/guardians are welcome to join us.

GOOD FRIDAY WALK for SHARING

March 29, 2024

12pm-3pm

“March” over to Hingham Congregational Church for this 3 mile walk to benefit The Federation of Southern Cooperatives.

The Federation of Southern Cooperatives (https://www.federation.coop/about-us) that serves a multi-state membership of black farmers, landowners, cooperatives, or other low-income rural people in the south with coop development, land retention, and advocacy. 

The walk will start at HCC about 12 noon and end at HCC by about 3pm.

The church doors will be open at 11:30am for check-in

378 Main Street, Hingham, MA

This approx. 3 mile walk will begin at Hingham Congregational Church at 378 Main Street and continue south on Main St. to South Shore Baptist Church at Free St. and north on Main St. back to HCC.

Green Lent Ideas: Feasting & Fasting

We are called to attend to the sacredness of Creation and respond to it by active participation in the protection of Creation.

1.FEAST on the blessing of community by practicing random acts of kindness to the people around you.

2.FAST from disposable coffee cups and water bottles by carrying your own.

3.FEAST on the outdoors by taking a walk (Join the Good Friday Walk).

4.FAST from eating meat which consumes much of the world’s resources.
