ABOUT OUR MEMBERS

Marina Giorgii' s first novel, published by Divertir, is now available on Amazon. If you like thrillers and mysteries, look for Blood Matter by M.V.Ghiorghi (Marina's pen name.)

HaMakom librarian Pat Carlton  invites all members to check the free book cart in the outdoor courtyard at UU and take whatever books they might want.  Due to space constraints, HaMakom cannot accept any more book donations until further notice.

MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: KAY AND ED GREENFIELD

The Greenfield's are relatively new members, having joined about a year and a half ago after experiencing the warmth and enthusiasm of HaMakom.  They were both born and raised in Chicago and have been in Santa Fe for the last four years.  Although they dearly miss the Cubs and deep dish pizza, they have come to love living near the mountains. Kay and Ed have four children. All three daughters attended college at UNM, so they spent lots of time coming back and forth to New Mexico, before finally  moving here!  Their children now live in Austin, TX, Chicago, Tel Aviv and Asheville, NC.  Ed ran a family wholesale meat business in Chicago for many years.  He is now semi-retired and works at Sprouts Market part-time.  Kay is a benefit specialist at Santa Fe Public Schools. They remark: " Just as we've found a new home in Santa Fe, we feel grateful that we are a part of our new spiritual home at HaMakom. We love the beautiful and inspiring services and programs, the friendly and welcoming members and wonderful clergy." We at HaMakom feel grateful to welcome them here!
