Happy New Year, Hope!
Before we move on to 2019, I want to pause to say thank you for an incredible end to 2018. We continue to do everything we can do to open the doors of Hope for as many people as we can. You continue to encourage and invite people to experience the life-changing good news of God's love for the world through Jesus.
In Ankeny, we had
more Christmas Eve services
than we've ever had before and it was a good thing since
than we've ever had before (over 5,400!) worshiped with us as we celebrated the birth of the newborn king. It's so cool to receive notes from people who come to Hope for the first time and say, "I have found my church home!" Thank you for the ways you serve and create a welcoming environment. God is using you and hope is being born for more and more people all the time.
As we move into 2019, let's keep the vision of Hope in front of us:
to be a Spirited (

) community filled with hope.
Part of the purpose of the vision is to remind us we never arrive; not as individuals, and not as a community of faith. God always has new work to do in us and through us.
