The Lutheran Church of the Incarnate Word

Join us on Friday, December 24th at 7:00 pm for a Candlelight service of Holy Communion as we welcome the light of the Christ child in our midst. For those who cannot be with us that evening, an online service will be available on the homepage of our website. www.incarnatewordelca.org.

Our Christmas celebration continues with a Service of Christmas Lessons and Carols with Holy Communion on Sunday, December 26th at 9:30 am.

Praying 4th Week of Advent

The season of Advent is about waiting and preparing for the coming of the Lord. We wait for Christ's arrival that happened 2,000 years ago and for the arrival that is yet to occur. In the hallowedness of this Advent season, we journey toward Bethlehem in the comforting but challenging reality of the "already' and the "not yet." May these Advent devotions carry you on your journey this week reminding you that in darkness there is hope. In Jesus, God's Word made flesh, we are never alone.

We will be serving take-out dinners on Christmas Day, from 5:00 - 6:00 pm. Please share the word with anyone who may wish to stop by for a hot nutritious meal.
