"May I always have the friendship
Of those whose path is like mine,
And with body, words, and also mind,
May we practice together the same aspirations and activities. "

Merit Makers
Venerable Amy’s visit was such a delight! And made even better by the help from so many folks who volunteered to greet and do water bowl offerings, drive and host her. Thanks to Ven. Khando, Karen Mastroianni and David Machles, Elise and David Strevel, Steve and Marian Hall, Susan Daniel, Fani Ttofali, Mike Flaherty, Suzy Boehm and Jill Marie. Working interdependently, we made it happen!
Thank you all!

PROTECTION AMULET NECKLACE
These necklaces, adorned with a tube or square-shaped amulet, feature a Tibetan Buddhist deity sealed inside a clear plastic case for protection. They are lightweight and comfortable to wear. It may also be suitable to hang in your car or home.
SILVER PRAYER WHEEL NECKLACES
Handcrafted by Nepalese artisans, this necklace features a sterling silver wheel that features OM MANI PADME HUM, the mantra of compassion. An additional scroll of the same mantra has been placed inside the main body.
***Since these necklaces feature holy images and/or contain mantras, they should be treated with special respect, just as you would a religious statue or painting. Please make sure they are placed in locations that are reasonably above ground, clean, and protected from accidental damage.***

Side Note

Your CM has been under the weather. As Garfield said, “The only thing active about me is my imagination,” and since even that has taken a sick day, here’s a quote that seems fitting for the many people who are under the same weather:

“By eliminating the self-pitying imagination of ego, you go beyond fear. All fear and other self-pitying emotions come from holding a self-pitying image of yourself.” ~ Lama Yeshe

Aha. I’ll get to work on that. Cough, cough.
