"If you have compassion in your everyday life, you collect the most extensive merit and purify much negative karma in a very short time. Many lifetimes, many eons of negative karma get purified. That helps you realize emptiness."
~ Lama Zopa Rinpoche

Our center is a living entity that exists through the efforts of our members. This is always very evident with special events such as Don Handrick’s recent visit. Many kind people pitched in: driving Don to teachings, shopping for his food, hosting him, organizing the details, and sponsoring the teachings. Huge thanks to all the volunteers and sponsors who made Don’s visit a success!

Happy Chokhor Duchen! It’s one of these auspicious days where our actions of body, speech and mind are multiplied 100 million times. As we welcomed Geshe-la back yesterday, he talked of how everything depends on the mind. So today is a great day to focus on having a positive mind. How’s that going so far?
"When you realize how perfect everything is you will tilt your head back and laugh at the sky." ~ Fake Buddha quote
