"As I look over this crowd of new and familiar faces I see happiness. Not only happinessā¦ I see JOY! The teachings tell us āJOY means the pleasure that comes from delighting in other people's well-being,ā and that is what I see on your faces tonight. It took many the untold efforts of many people to get Kadampa Center to where it is today. So tonight ..."

FRESH LOGO TO REPRESENT CENTER'S FUTURE
During the 25th Anniversary Gala, Center Director Robbie Watkins unveiled the Kadampa Center's new logo, which debuts in the header of this issue of This Week. The refreshed logo uses a subtle morph in style to move beyond our first 25 years, represented this past year with the "25 Years" bodhi leaf shown at left.
In the Kadampa Center's new logo, shown below, the stupa ā the symbol of the enlightened mind ā takes center stage set against the golden Bodhi leaf, which symbolizes being awake and supreme knowledge. The Kadampa Center name, shown in a typeface that is graceful, elegant and easy to read, and the Bodhi leaf are displayed against an aqua-blue background that coordinates with the primary color used on our altar.
The logo, highlighted by the stupa and golden Bodhi leaf, coordinates beautifully with an array of colors represented in our new color palette. In the coming weeks, a plan for each color's use will be identified, working with team representatives from throughout the Center.
As the use of our new logo is unrolled, we hope you enjoy the renewed and refreshed energies it represents.
