WHEN THE CHOCOLATE RUNS OUT
~ by Lama Yeshe
To know Lama Yeshe was to know he loved chocolate; it was his favorite metaphor to describe the nature of our attachments. This funny and trenchant little volume answers the question of how we can be happy even after the "chocolate" has run out. By cutting the cords of attachment, we discover the indestructible happiness that has always been—and always will be—available to us. Now in paperback!

Retreat locally, transform globally
We offer weekend and one-day retreats throughout the year to give an in-depth look into specific topics or practices. Whether you attend retreats or not, supporting teachings and practice benefits not just the Center and those who attend, but it also greatly benefits the donor, because it creates the causes to meet the teachings again in future lives.

Blooming bursts of color and pollen. It's a package deal. Precious human rebirth and a mind of swirling thoughts. It's a package deal as well.
"And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom." ~ Anais Nin

teg chen (Tib); theg chen (Wyl)*
"
Literally, Great Vehicle. It is one of the two general divisions of Buddhism. Mahayana practitioners' motivation for following the Dharma path is principally their intense wish for all mother sentient beings to be liberated from conditioned existence, or samsara, and to attain full enlightenment or buddhahood."
