"If twenty-four hours a day, everything you do is motivated by bodhichitta, you accumulate infinite merit. Moreover, every single action becomes a cause not only for your own enlightenment, but also the happiness of every other sentient being."
~ Lama Zopa Rinpoche

Great fun at the Luau Party!
|
|
Our summer Luau was a blast! Thank you to everyone who came out on a lovely summer night clad in colors and floral attire. The decorations were festive, Hawaiian slat key music had wonderful accompanists and the potluck was delicious! We dipped out toes in baby pools with floating flowers, ate popsicles, and learned to hula hoop. To top it off, the limbo contest brought lots of laughter and amazement!
Bet you can't wait for the Fall Festival!

Thanks go out this week to Julie Lewis, Julie Quetel, Vivian and Oliva Magarino-Gomez for helping to set up the summer Luau party we held last Saturday. We had a blast listening to Hawaiian slat key music, soaking our toes in baby pools, eating yummy food and watching an amazing limbo contest! We held off the rain until the end, then danced under the tent! Thanks also to all of you who attended; it's wonderful to hang out with our Dharma friends.
