"
The reason we are unhappy is because we have extreme craving for sense objects – samsaric objects – and we grasp at them. We are seeking to solve our problems, but we are not seeking in the right place. The right place is our ego-grasping.
"
~ Lama Thubten Yeshe

BE HAPPY
~ by His Holiness the Dalai Lama
Nobody wakes up in the morning wishing for more trouble that day. However, emotional trouble - unhappiness - is our own creation. This book explores two things you need to know about unhappiness (the failure to understand reality and self-cherishing ego) and how to replace unhappiness with joy.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF SCHEDULE CHANGE
We have all enjoyed our Center's long open hours welcoming visitors, meditators, volunteers and members. This "open access" is a rarity among FPMT Centers. We ask for your patience as Kadampa Center temporarily remains closed during daytime hours as our Board of Directors and Center Manager develop a new "open access" schedule. Once completed, the new schedule will be distributed as soon as possible.
During this transition, volunteers with specific responsibilities may continue to access the Center.

One may be inspired after a meaningful Sunday teaching or to commemorate a personal milestone. Some choose this method for anonymity, others prefer to give as their heart is moved.
