KC members enjoy overview of recent pilgrimage to Sera Jey Monastery and Mahabodhi Temple in India
|
|
On Jan. 6 we followed the Sunday morning teaching with a presentation of selected photos from the recent India pilgrimage.
Last November
Geshe Sangpo led 15 members of Kadampa Center, including our three precious nuns, on a two-week pilgrimage Sera Jey Monastery and holy sites in India.
The photos gave a glimpse into life at the monastery where our two precious Geshes lived and studied. There wasn't time to cover all the experiences from the trip, so we plan an evening travelog later this year, after Geshe Sangpo returns from India.
Many thanks to all the travelers who contributed photos and insights, and to David and Elise Strevel for compiling and editing the photos.

Saying goodbye to three friends during practices at the Center this week makes for a rough start to 2019. May each one of them find perfect rebirths, meet qualified teachers right from the start and have mountains of peace.
And may all those that are still on this side, enjoy a peaceful year and know they are loved.
Sending love,
