and touch
. Our mind runs after ideas as greedily as our
tongue hungers for tastes.

Thanks go out this week to the Tibetan community for preparing delicious traditional tea, rice and cookies for Losar. And thank you to all our dakas and dakinis who served everyone while we enjoyed song and talks from the Tibetan youth. It was a special holiday, one rich in history replicated for many years at our Center. Thank you to all for making our day wonderful!

The four practices used to purify non-virtuous imprints on the mindstream; they are
the power of the object
, taking refuge in the Triple Gem and generating bodhicitta;
the power of regret
, feeling deep regret for the negativity committed;
the power of resolve
, determining not to repeat that negativity; and
the power of remedy
, a practice such as Vajrasattva that effectively acts as an antidote to the negativity.
