Come join us as we celebrate Lama Tsongkhapa, the founder of our lineage, the Gelugpa tradition, in Tibetan Buddhism. This day marks the 600th anniversary of his passing.
Led by Geshe Gelek, we will celebrate Lama Tsongkhapa and his great contribution to the Dharma with a festival of prayer and practice.

Join Geshe Gelek as he guides us to selected points in the road to enlightenment.

Beginning December 4, Geshe-la will teach the death meditation and dissolution of elements.

Medicine Buddha puja is a beautiful prayer service that includes lyrical praises to the seven Medicine Buddhas, requests for their help and aspirations for our own spiritual attainments.

Kadampa Center's annual New Year's Eve Dorje Khadro Fire Puja, a powerful Mahayana purification practice, offers us an opportunity to go into the new year with a relatively clean slate. Bring the entire family for this fire puja practice where we burn black sesame seeds symbolizing past negative karmic actions. 

The 2020 ANNUAL APPEAL is moving right along. We are at $141,218 out of $200,000. Have you sent in your pledge form?

Merit Makers & Side Notes
Thanks go out this week to Julie Lewis, Melissa Reed and Patrick McGinity. Julie and Melissa spent an afternoon on a warm December day repainting portions of the back garden pergola where Patrick reconfigured the structure to provide a skylight for the Buddha. Little by little we are making our Center more beautiful with the help of kind volunteers. Thanks guys!

Family Program
Dec 1-29, Children are welcome in the gompa - NO separate Family Program. Classes resume in January.
Sunday morning classes begin at 10:30
Our Sunday Program is a vibrant mix of drop-off and family programming. Much of our curriculum content is based on the 16 Guidelines .
