Members purify negativities at Dorje Khadro puja
|

Many members brought 2018 to a close, and started the new year afresh, by participating in the Dorje Khadro fire puja. The puja, a powerful Mahayana purification practice, allows participants to purify negative karma accumulated throughout the year (and before), and to begin the new year with a positive mind and compassionate heart. During the fire burning practice, black sesame seeds symbolizing past negative karmic actions are burned.
