Most all of us awoke to terrible news today. After what this world has been through with hurricanes and earthquakes, it’s overwhelming news to hear of one more sad, sad event. We can’t even begin to wonder what brings someone to such a state of mind, yet the words...
MERIT MAKERS
Thanks go out this week to our LOP packing and transport teams. It's an enormous task to pack an entire retreat, load it, drive to the retreat, unload it, then pack and load it all back up again, drive back, unload and unpack it upon return. Whew! We thank our leader, Susan Daniel and her KC team: Patrick McGinity, Jack Shannon, Josh Britt, Jacob Gibbs and Jennifer Minella. We also thank David and Elise Strevel who drove a truck to LOP, loaded everything and drove back to Raleigh where the KC night crew of: Venerable Lhamo, Suzy Boehm, Craig Cornish, Linda Saah, Peter Cranford, Chris Baranski and Michael Flarehty unloaded in the dark.
