OUR CONNECTIONS ILLUSTRATED WITH YARN! Special thanks to Venerable Khando-la for leading our Sunday morning session on Oct. 8. During the session, five volunteer "yarn herders" randomly passed around a different color of yarn, ensuring to "touch" each member of the audience, to form a complex visual yarn matrix to illustrate how we are all connected. Venerable Khando-la explained that from a Buddhist view, connections we make with others is not by chance, but is purposeful and dependent on our karma and past actions. Now that's something super special to contemplate! Thank you, Venerable Khando-la, for leading such an effective, memorable, and thought-provoking session.
